Workforce Training Network

Welcome to our NERHA Student & Workforce Exchange community! We at NERHA have made rural healthcare workforce and education a core strategic pillar of everything we do. We are dedicated to strengthening current workforce by growing incumbent workforce skills and competencies and working with employers to help with retention. We are also dedicated to expanding the healthcare workforce by nurturing the pipeline by helping connect students with rural-based internships, scholarships, residencies, and other opportunities. We encourage students in undergraduate, graduate, medical, advanced practitioner, and other programs to become NERHA student members. We also encourage academic institutions to become academic members so their students can become members through them. Our annual conference provides opportunities for students and others to present, learn, and network. We are always ready to support educational and training programs with rural subject matter expertise as guest speakers or contributors to curricula.
